D365 F&O / Power Apps Engineer

Job Description:

  • D365 Developer
     
  • Role will be very hands-on technically, but there is opportunity to move into a leadership/architecture role.
  • Team is small--currently only 3, this role will make 4. Max team size will be 5.
  • Heavy emphasis on D354 F&O--must have requirement. Customer Engagement nice to have.
  • Need to build and configure custom entities, workflows, fields, forms--recreating from legacy system and improving workflows/processes where they can.
  • Responsible for development of customizations, both integrations/API customizations to non-ERP systems and UI customizations to the product (ribbon customizations, enabling buttons, etc).
  • Need experience in programming/scripting in C#, .NET framework, Visual Studio, X++ (specifically for F&O). Javascript nice to have.
  • Initially responsible for the maintenance and defining best practices and processes for administration of the platform. Will then be responsible for working with Business Analysts to document so administration can be handed off.
  • Power Platform skills nice to have--building custom Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to enhance and scale D365 capabilities. Nice to have experience in Power Apps & Automate but not a deal-breaker. They should be able to pick it up.
  • On-prem solution as it stands, but will be migrating to Azure, shooting to go live this time next year. No Azure experience needed--has another team managing the cloud.
  • May be responsible for some writing and scripting of QA tests

  • Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Programming/scripting: X++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio
  • Experience in building integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems (non ERPs)
  • Experience building custom workflows, entities, fields, etc in Dynamics 365
  • Experience in data processing, basic familiarity with ETL
  • Strong communication skills, self-starter, independent
