Location:
Remote - Mexico
Overview: Provide storage & backup engineering support to L2 teams. Perform daily storage management tasks and provide recommendations for effective storage system use.
Responsibilities:
· Support, manage, maintain, and document Storage environments.
· Write and review change procedures for Storage environment.
· Resolve performance, security, and reliability issues with Storage environments.
· Migrate storage from EOSL to new arrays.
· Configure and support EMC and Pure Storage environment.
· Develop and manage monitoring systems and tools.
Qualifications:
· 7+ years experience with EMC and Pure Storage Hardware and Software.
· Working Knowledge of Cisco MDS switches.
· Working Knowledge of EMC Avamar/Data Domain and Commvault backup solutions.
· Knowledge of high availability / DR solutions.
· Experience with various operating systems (AIX, Solaris, VMware, RHEL).
· Experience with System Security, network design, Linux and Windows systems, and VMware.
· Knowledge of Oracle DB and scripting languages (Perl, Shell).
