You will work to define and facilitate the transformation of the current architecture to meet future organizational needs, goals, and strategic direction. Thinking end-to-end through the lens of our customers, you will establish strategic technology solutions promoting component reuse and standardization of technologies as you scale our solutions across the organization. You have a relentless passion for simplified architecture underpinned by a razor-sharp business-oriented mindset. In this senior-level role, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing our company’s product catalogues and offers strategies that seamlessly enhance our outward and inward facing customers interactions across all sales channels. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, analyze customer feedback, and develop comprehensive enterprise-wide strategies for effective customer engagement.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in commercial products modelling technology concepts, a deep understanding of data modelling strategies and framework, an understanding of experience development lifecycle including the required tooling to create efficiencies, and a passion for emerging technologies. You should be a natural leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Architect the systems, data, and processes for the product catalog, CRM, and e-commerce experience
  • Define the product data model and design patterns
  • Act as the custodian of the master product data model in the product space
  • Lead workshops and conduct observations to assess the current state, pain points, and gaps against the target future state
  • Assist in identifying and prioritizing improvement opportunities to close the gaps and help the team advance toward its future state
  • Evaluate the impact on sales, churn rate, and customer renewal during the product onboarding process
  • Support the methodology for evaluating new products and offers, including competitive and saturation analysis
  • Implement a product governance model or center of excellence to streamline decision-making and avoid redundant products
  • Streamline the onboarding process and reduce reliance on excessive customizations
  • Develop a plan to handle major sales events like Black Friday without disrupting the product catalog
  • Foster collaboration between IT, engineering, and business teams to improve technology flow and decision-making
  • Support the development of software and data delivery platforms with reusable components that can be orchestrated for reuse through different methods for various business purposes
 
Qualifications
  • Retail, media, and telecom product modeling expertise, including proficiency in integrating products, pricing, promotions, discounts, and rules
  • Experience in subscription and entitlement business models
  • A relevant university degree or technical certification (or equivalent industry experience) in a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in IT technology, operations, people leadership, and strategy within a large organization
  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to effectively use modeling tools and methodologies to represent business areas as capabilities and identify optimal growth strategies
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of data models architecture, systems, and data
  • Familiarity with AI and ML architecture and technologies
  • Proven experience in providing IT architecture and planning, and the ability to develop and deliver IT solutions independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge and training in one or more architecture and service delivery frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, eTDM, ITIL, CoBiT)
  • Willingness to share knowledge and provide training to the product and pricing team on EPC capabilities and best practices
 
Product Design Expertise:
 
  • Proven ability to lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, including the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that enhance the usability and aesthetics of our solutions
  • Demonstrated success in autonomously managing complex, multi-stream projects that require input from various stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with business support systems (BSS) processes
