Job Description:

Position: Principal Software Engineer – IT (Full Stack Developer) 
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite in ATX, Dallas or Hopkington)
Duration: Contract to Hire 

The DevSecOps Engineering team ensures that all teams and applications are using the industry standard security products for managing secrets and credentials in Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL). The security products and platforms will be integrated in DevOps CICD pipeline to improve the developer experience. Engineers will work with platforms, application teams and architects with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners.

You will:

  • Explore and make recommendations on security products.
  • Follow Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) standards and practices.
  • Work with external Vendors to manage the backlog and roadmap.
  • Leverage AI capabilities to build AI models and Engines.
  • Integrate Security products in DevOps eco system. 


Essential Requirements

  • Strong programming background with mastery skills in at least one programming languages and like Java, .NET, Go or Python (preferred) and databases (MS SQL or Postgres preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of MVC, WebAPI, Entity Framework, Micro Services and application development.
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming & popular design patterns
  • Experience with Cloud Native Container platforms like Kubernetes, PCF/TAS etc

Desirable Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience including 3+ years of experience in DevOps/DevSecOps in a professional role with a bachelor’s degree
  • Understanding of AI capabilities like LLM’s, Generative AI and knowledge of Embeddings & vector similarities
