Title: Cybersecurity Lead 
Location: Hybrid in Fairfax, VA (3 days per week onsite)
Client: CISA CDM Data Services – Department of Justice
Security Clearance: Public Trust

About the Role:
We are the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Security Engineering and Compliance Manager to join our mission-driven team. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the security architecture, implementation, deployment, and operations of the Cyber Data Services solution.
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership including analysis of vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to enhance our cybersecurity practices and systems
  • Architecture, engineering, and security testing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to include but not limited to creating CI/CD pipelines for solutions delivery, container orchestration (ex: AWS EKS), and automating the creation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) infrastructures
  • Supporting system Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and creating artifacts, control implementation details, & Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Project Details:
  • Join us in building a nextgeneration Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation cyber data solution for the Department of Homeland Security. This work will be a key piece in enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the nation’s cybersecurity & infrastructure. Our work leads efforts to strengthens the cybersecurity of critical federal networks through better awareness and visibility into security threats

What We’re Looking For:
  • Leadership & Expertise: 3+ years in a team lead or higher role with experience leading teams of 10+ security engineers and analysts
  • Technical Skills: 7+ years of experience in security engineering & DevOps with proficiency in AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, ELK Stack
  • Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of DevSecOps including information security principles, system architectures, and network protocols.
  • Compliance Experience: Familiarity with ATO processes, RMF, and POAMs.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with IT Service Management tools (e.g., Atlassian Jira).
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools like Splunk and Tenable Security Tools.
  • Prior federal agency experience
