Job Description:

Title: AD Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Must be local and sit onsite in San Antonio, Texas
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm CST
Type: Contract to hire 
Interview Process: 3 virtual rounds
What you’ll do: 

  1. Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for Windows Server engineering and administration.
  2. Design and evaluate solutions to enhance the most complex Windows servers and related infrastructure across the organization. Make recommendations to management and implement enhancement solutions
  3. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design and implement the most complex Windows server infrastructure projects that fulfill line of business needs across the organization
  4. Perform routine systems conformance and capacity validation and routine system maintenance to ensure that Windows servers are up to date, secure, and in compliance standards. Always take action Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

 

What you’ll need:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, in a related field, or equivalent experience
  2. 5+ years of experience in server administration and/or engineering
  3. Demonstrated experience in engineering at a high level across multiple systems
  4. Demonstrated ability to accurately depict technical environments
  5. Demonstrated experience working in a virtualized environment
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  7. Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

 

Additional Preferred Skills:

  1. Expertise and experience in advanced scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Chef
  2. Expertise and experience in at least one of the following: Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Anti-Virus solutions, SCCM, PKI, Privileged Access Management
