Job Description

We are looking for a systems engineer with experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Windows based solutions for password and identity management. This role will have a primary focus of maintaining and troubleshooting Active Directory password sync solutions integrated with mainframes (RACF, AS400), LDAP, and other non-Active Directory systems. It will also include coordinating hardware and software upgrades for Windows based systems as well as application migration, feature changes, and testing. The candidate must be well-organized, self-motivated, comfortable in a team as well as a solo working environment, and driven to produce top quality results expeditiously.

Required Skills

• Active Directory and LDAP implementation and administration
• Understanding of trusted and untrusted multi-forest and multi-domain directory
• API Gateway and Directory proxy experience
• Windows Server 2016 and 2019 administration
• Network and infrastructure experience
• PowerShell and basic Windows scripting
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Writing and maintenance of design and implementation documentation

Desired Skills

• Experience configuring Directory Services, Java Plugins, and Replication in multi-master directory environments
• Identity Management experience (Microsoft Identity Manager or similar technologies)
• Experience writing SQL queries

What does the team do? 

Team is responsible for Identity management tools in the space, MS Identity manager is the main platform and then they have Active roles from One Identity.

Out of the box or Custom workflows, UIs.

Mix of development and more infra solution design and implementation – they try to stay away from the development since you can get wrapped around the axel.

Stick to more internal data processing (data in / data out) for identity management.

What is the current situation and why the company have the need: 

Focused on password synch from Active directory to other LDAP and AD environments (used to be Merrill Lynch), they do have some non-AD environments.

What is the project you will be working on:  

Focused on the password as they go from the mainframes/non AD env to the AD.

What will be your day to day:  

Password synchronization from Active directory to other LDAP and AD environments (used to be Merrill Lynch), they do have some non-AD environments.

Microsoft Identity manager

What are the must have’s: 

• Active Directory and LDAP
• Multi forest and multi domain directories (directory synchronization)
• API Gateway and Directory Proxy
• Windows Server
• Basic PowerShell

What are the nice to have’s:
