Position: Communications Network Engineer
Location: Fully onsite in West Bethesda, MD
Hours: Regular business hours
Compensation: $100,000/yr base + $4.57 fringe per hour + sick leave accrual + 10 federal holidays paid off + weekly pay
Job Type: Long term contract
Clearance: Active secret required
Job Description
- Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems.
- Administer LAN/BAN/WANs.
- Schedule conversions and cutovers.
- Coordinate with all responsible users and sites.
- Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
- Active secret clearance
- Security + Certification
- Bachelor’s degree + 4 years exp, or 8 years overall networking exp
- Preferred CCNA certification (must obtain within first 60 days if you do not possess)
