Remote AWS Reporting Workstream Lead

Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking for a Remote Oracle Reporting Workstream Lead. This will be a long term contract position.Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, math, engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent experience
- Six years of software development or business analysis experience
- Understanding and expertise in current architectural and engineering patterns specific to reporting platforms
- Five years of experience and expertise in database design techniques and application of reporting tools
- Three years of experience leading project teams to the successful delivery of software solutions (including leading project resources and managing costs, timeline and value delivered)
- Expertise in build and deployment tools - (Visual Studio, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, SQL Management Studio, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Attention to detail and results oriented, with a strong customer focus
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Technical communication skills and the ability to present information to all levels of the organization
- Problem-solving and technical communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Financial, regulatory, and consolidating reporting in the financial services industry
- Experience supporting Financial Reporting and Analysis (management reporting)
- Knowledge and understanding of multiple accounting bases (IFRS, STAT, GAAP, etc.)
- Expertise with Oracle Databases, Hyperion Essbase and surrounding tools
- Experience with data warehousing architecture and implementation, including source to target mappings and ETL.
- Technology or platform certifications (e.g. AWS)
