Job Description:

SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (Clinical)
Growing Medical Diagnostics company is expanding their team to support their growth and customers. This position is 100% remote with a requirement of working 5-6 core hours to support teams in different time zones.
The Supplier Relationship Manager works closely with project, people, and functional leaders across Clinical Operations & Biometrics, Procurement, Legal and Suppliers to ensure appropriate governance and oversight of RMS suppliers and maximizes the value obtained from partnerships with external providers of Clinical Trial Services at a study, program or supplier level.
This position is 100% remote and will work 8 hours during the day on a US time zone. Some schedule flexibility will be needed for occasional meetings to accommodate national and European teams.
Responsibilities
-Monitor and report KPIs
-Supplier Relationship development and Management
-Escalation process to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Oversee all aspects of outsourcing / external resourcing in support of Clinical Operations and Biometrics (COBM) functions and sub-functions.
• Effectively manages the relationships with key suppliers and represents company at applicable levels within management teams / steering committees.
• Develops overall COBM outsourcing strategy across functions.
• Works with COBM leaders to identify and fully document outsourcing needs.
• Works with Procurement and COBM Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify and select suppliers.
• Works with Procurement, Supplier Quality Assurance and SME to qualify.
• Works with Clinical Contract Administration and Legal to establish Master Services Agreement (MSA) for as many suppliers as possible.
• Establishes, monitors, and reports on Key Performance Indicators for applicable suppliers.
• Ensures complete and accurate supplier information / records are maintained across applicable systems (e.g., Simple-Buy, CTMS, etc.)
• Other applicable duties assigned by manager
• Manages staff; provides staff with coaching, training and opportunities to develop skills, and gives ongoing, constructive and timely feedback on performance and progress toward goals and expectations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
AAS/BS/PhD in Business or related field
7 years’ experience in a vendor relationship supporting role, preferably within medical diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or related field. RFI, RFP, Contracting and/or Budget management experience is a plus.
