Job Description:
Position: Fire Sprinkler Project Manager
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Pay rate: 35-38/hr. on W2 basis
Job Description: Once sales gets a job this Project Manager meets with them and does a kick off meeting to determine how many hours for each part of the phase will be alloted. This meeting includes the designer, estimator, etc. From there the PM takes the info to get the quote (for outside design) and sends them a purchase order. Then this person will do material ordering, procurement, job site meetings, change orders, billing, and anything all the way down to close outs.
Requirements:
1. Five years’ experience as a Sprinkler PM (2 years minimum), ideally at a large budget level ($500K+)
2. Proficient in Excel
3. Know NFPA 13, 14, 20, 24, and 25 codes
Nice to Haves:
1. Estimating experience
2. Started their career in the field
3. Engineering degree
