Job Description:
Data Engineer/ETL Developer:Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite in Richmond, VA, 2 days remote
*No C2C. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship on W2*
- SQL: stored procedures, views, functions
- ETL and data warehousing--sources are Oracle, SQL Server database, leveraging all relational SQL Server warehouse
- ETL is Informatica, Control M for scheduling
- Routing back-end data from source systems, pulling into staging areas, will have slowly changing dimensions as applications are migrated
- Largely maintenance, monitoring of pipelines, job schedules, but potential for new ETL work as the source systems migrate, reconfiguration of data pipelines, structured data changes, etc.
- Python for data pre-processing, not using any frameworks, just functional Python programming
- Using Tableau for reporting/visualization, nice to have but less important than the core SQL and ETL skillset
