Position: Support Center Technician
Location: On-site in Southington, CT
Rate: $24-29/hr W2
Duration: 18+ month contract-to-hire starting 9/20

Support Center Technician
Position Description:
Provides technical support and assistance to end-users regarding software, hardware, and network-related issues. The role typically involves maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring that all incidents and requests are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:

  • Handling first-level support of service requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Troubleshooting computer and printer issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
  • Performing Active Directory actions, such as password resets and data entry.
  • Providing technical assistance for IT products and services for incoming queries related to computer systems.
  • Recommending and setting up office equipment like desks, tables, printers, and TV monitors.


Required Skills::

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with a ticketing system. ServiceNow is a plus. 
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with IT support best practices.
