Position:  Senior Database Application Engineer 
Location: Full Remote
Duration: 6-month Contract to Hire or Permanent opportunity direct with the client
Pay Rate Range:  up to $110k/year 
Project Description: 
This resource will be joining a team that tests the clients homegrown client data management tool which collects data from client file types, runs it through their system and enters into the database. 
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:  
Back end development in the Microsoft SQL environment. Developing and generating dynamic SQL statements. 
Building and maintaining SSRS reporting. 
Agile methodology 

• ETL experience
• Experience building and maintaining SSRS
• Experience with Microsoft SQL (minimum 2012, ideally 2016 or 2019)
  • Back end development as well as generating dynamic SQL statements
• Experience ingesting data files from the operating system 
• Experience working in an Agile environment 
• International travel occasionally 
• Experience with Database server administration – setting up query folding, performance tuning, security and server certifications  
• Understanding of .Net for front end development 
• Industry experience in insurance, financial services or banking
• Exposure to GBPR and other privacy regulations from a worldwide perspective

• Experience with NoSQL
