Salesforce QA Consultant
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our consulting practice has an opening for a Salesforce QA Consultant  who will be responsible for delivering end-to-end project implementation and testing on Salesforce’s for a Top Five Bank.
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Hybrid,  Downtown Toronto- 1-2 days/week
Terms: 6 yr Contract, Strong possibility of extension or converting fulltime based on project budget & candidate performance.
Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

  • Overall 8+ years of Strong testing experience in Salesforce CRM - standard/custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules and sharing rules.
  • Good knowledge of data loader to insert/update or import/export bulk data from salesforce objects.
  • Good exposure on salesforce configuration, System integration and data migration testing.
  • Experienced with API testing with Salesforce.
  • Analyze, develop, and execute efficient and effective Test Cases/Test Scripts/Test Data for the new state specific requirements and enhancements
  • Automation framework design and implementation according to application or project needs
  • Design, development and implement automated tests in an ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) and BDD Frameworks
  • Write and execute automated tests using Selenium/Java, Cucumber and Rest Assured for Web and API test automation
  • Ability to participate the defect triage meetings with all the stake holders and supporting onshore/offshore team with testing, issues and defect resolution
  • Participate in the Release Gateway meeting, Code, Design reviews and production check outs
  • Implement QA methodologies, processes using automation tools to develop and execute the new software solutions
  • Deliver test automation solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guidelines
  • Perform Peer review for automated tests that are been developed by team members etc.
  • Seeks to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction and Preventions
  • Test Management - Ensure effective and efficient application of test processes and tools
  • Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status reporting
  • Providing continuous review and recommendations for improvement of processes related to status reporting/dash-boarding and QA
  • Define project requirements and deliverables based on scope
  • Plan coverage projects from initiation through closing states
  • Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports
