Job Overview: We are looking for an Associate Scientist to assist with preclinical development through in vivo studies in our dynamic team environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine mouse models for preclinical testing of new therapies, managing drug delivery and sample collection.
- Lead in vivo pharmacology studies, analyzing drug mechanisms and efficacy with thorough documentation and presentation.
- Maintain lab operations and foster an inclusive environment while conducting experiments and managing equipment.
- Education: Bachelors degree with a min 6 years, or Masters degree with min 4 years, of experience conducting preclinical in vivo studies with mouse models
- Excellent at analytical thinking and problem-solving, adept at balancing detail with overarching goals.
- Strong communicator, capable of presenting research to varied audiences.
- Adaptable, excels in fast-paced environments, and skilled at multitasking.
- Team-oriented, eager to enhance company culture within the biotech startup industry.
