Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Job Type: 6 month contract

About Us: Join our dynamic team at Top 5 Bank , where we are committed to driving innovation and excellence in the financial industry. We are seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to help us streamline our operations and enhance our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Artifactory.
  • Automate deployment and monitoring processes using Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, DevOps deployment and automation).
  • Manage and maintain Autosys and Feedhub for job scheduling and data integration.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Implement and manage containerized applications using Linux CaaS (RedHat cluster).
  • Oversee the deployment and management of applications on Windows (2016 and higher) and Linux environments.
  • Utilize Informatica for data integration and management.
  • Deploy and manage web applications using Microsoft Azure app services, including app insights.
  • Work with Oracle and SQL databases for data storage and retrieval.
  • Utilize Git, Jenkins, Data Factory, Ansible, and Artifactory for efficient DevOps processes.
  • Implement and manage reporting solutions using Cognos.
  • Use Jira and Confluence for project management and documentation.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, DevOps deployment and automation).
  • Experience with Linux CaaS (RedHat cluster) and Windows (2016 and higher).
  • Strong knowledge of Autosys, Feedhub, and Informatica.
  • Expertise in Git, Jenkins, Data Factory, Ansible, and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, and Cognos.
  • Proficient in using Jira and Confluence for project management.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
  • Excellent team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum [5] years of experience in a DevOps role.
  • Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, DevOps, or related technologies are a plus.
