Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Greensboro, NC
Shift: M-F 8AM - 5PM

Our client manufactures and designs dispensers, point of sales systems, payment systems, forecourt merchandising and support services. 
This employee will be trained on the several manufacturing and assembly processes for products including mechanical and electrical integration.  If you are interested in developing your electrical and mechanical manufacturing and integration, this is the role for you!
Summary
•    Contribute to manufacturing improvements and initiatives for dispenser structures, hydraulics, mechanisms, electronics packaging, user interfaces, etc.
•    Support new products and continuation engineering manufacturing
•    Support mechanical/electrical assembly lines and process manufacturing. 
•    Support electrical test engineering procedures (willing to train), hardware integration (willing to train) projects and other electromechanical activities required for product completion. Support mechanical integration and design procedures to confirm form and function.  
•    Work with manufacturing and production to ensure design changes meet production needs.
•    Support and lead process improvement initiatives/kaizen events
•    Manage and report project costs, scheduling, and resource planning to leadership team.
•    Develop and maintain Product Requirements Specifications, DFMEAs, and competitive benchmarking documents throughout development process.
•    Submit and authorize Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/ECO)
•    Implement new parts into ERP/SAP system from beginning to end.
•    Create and implement standard work processes for 2D drawings, GD&T, 3D CAD models, technical design reviews and engineering change orders used across global teams to ensure consistent, robust design practices.
•    Visit field trial sites to oversee installations and ensure product functionality.
•    Manage BOM and ERP configurator documents for parts groups and kits.
Requirements
•    BS Engineering and ideally minimum of 4+ years of experience
•    Willing to consider less experience based on ability.
•    Mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing background preferred but flexible.
•    Electrical component knowledge is a plus
•    Willingness to learn electromechanical assembly and manufacturing procedures
