Role: Federal Program Logistician
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Required) - On-site Role - estimate at least 100% time
Duration: Long-term

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- US Citizenship
- TS/SCI Security Clearance with specific polygraph required at time of hire.
- Requires at least 1.5 years’ experience with C-O-C (Chain-of-Custody) processes and procedures.
- 2-4 years of technical experience.
- Must be comfortable working on-site M-F at customer location near Salt Lake City.
- Experience as logistics coordinator.

- Has sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable.
- Has ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products.
- Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
The Logistician will manage the distribution of IT parts from various vendors, ensuring that Chain-of-Custody (C-O-C) requirements are met for each order and shipment. The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a solid understanding of supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with excellent record-keeping abilities. The goal for the position is to ensure smooth operations for a variety of secure government logistical channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, part storage, transportation, and customer services.
- Monitor quality, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Organize part storage, manage inventory, and process shipments.
- Address and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Coordinate and track the shipment of final products to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks within project delivery cycles.
- Utilize broad company technology knowledge to contribute to detailed technical designs that meet customer needs.
- Apply knowledge tools and reuse information to benefit projects and professional development.
