Job Description:
Role: GCP Data Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX or Pine Bluff, AR or Little Rock, AR (3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 1 year Contract (potential to convert to FTE)
Collaborate in an agile team of peers developing cloud-based analytics platform integrating data from broad amount of systems to enable next-gen analytical products.
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineer is responsible to develop and deliver effective cloud solutions for different business units. This position requires knowledge and experience in GCP services, architecture, and best practices. Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and reliable cloud solutions. This position will also be responsible for driving innovation and staying up to date with the latest GCP technologies and trends to provide industry-leading solutions.
Looking for experience with:
- Experience in data engineering
- Python
- SQL
- Experience with development, operation support and data lifecycle (end-to-end from requirement intake to production lifecycle)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP): GCP’s Data Storage and Processing services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataform, Data fusion, Spanner / Cloud Spanner, Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer
- Experience with migration projects is ideal
- Experience working with Financial Services or Banking Industry
