Title: Senior Firmware Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA - Chippewa Falls, MN - Houston, TX - Ft. Collins, CO

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience and knowledge
  • 7+ years’ experience in firmware or BIOS/UEFI development.
  • In-depth knowledge of UEFI architecture and development (PEI, DXE, UEFI).
  • Solid programming skills in C/C++.
  • Proficiency in Assembly Language Programming and Python is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering concepts, with emphasis on component and object-oriented programming.
  • Strong firmware, software, and hardware background.
  • Knowledge of OS architecture.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture.
  • Knowledge of industry standard technologies including ACPI, USB, SMBIOS, IPMI, Redfish, PCI Express, and CXL.
  • Knowledge of open firmware efforts such as OpenBMC is a plus.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub for source control management.
