Apex Systems is looking for REGISTERED Pharmacy Techs in the Plainfield, IN area!Title: Pharmacy Technician
Duration: Starting at 6 months contract to hire
Shift:
- 1st shift - must be available work a 10-hour shift any time between 6am to 6pm
- 2nd shift - must be available to work a 10-hour shift any time between 2pm to 2am
- Shifts run Sunday – Friday; Employees work 10 hours shifts; scheduled 4 days a week on a rotating basis
Start Date: September 3rd, 10th, and 17th
Orientation: Everyone starts and attends Orientation on Tuesdays from 9:30am – 4:30pm
1-Day of orientation with Safety, QA & Security Team, HIPAA & Computer Training then roll onto their assigned shift for on the job training.
**NOTE: Must be Registered to work in Indiana as a pharmacy technician**
Responsibilities
- Replenish medication into cells for automated dispensing stations.
- Manually fill prescriptions.
- Package medications.
- Stock packages weighing up to 50 lbs. into racks and shelves.
- Long periods of standing and walking.
- Repetitive hand movements.
- Maintain production levels so that throughput goals are achieved to ship completed prescriptions to stores.
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacy tech in the state of Indiana
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and meet physical requirements of position.
- This site has major inventory that needs to be moved, so there will be quite a bit of lifting, stacking, moving pallets.
- Prior experience in a central fill, pill-pak, specialty/mail order production pharmacy/shipping department.
