Position: Integration Tester
Clearance Requirement: Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance as a condition and continuation of employment
Location: Baltimore, MD
Estimated Duration: The client approximates that this project may last up to 12+ months. However, there is no guarantee of employment for any length of time.
Pay Rate Range: $120-$135/hr.
Project Description: Our client is looking for an integration & test engineer to support a highly classified aerospace program for the Department of Defense. This individual will be responsible for development and validation of engineering applications and products, including laboratory simulation systems, aircraft flight control and display systems, pacemakers, defibrillators, and various mechanical and electrical systems.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans, conducting rigorous testing procedures, analyzing results, and troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
- This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components, generate detailed technical reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this position
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- C++ programing experience
- MatLab Experience
- Jira experience
- Scrum / Agile Dev Ops experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on special access programs (SAP)
- Aerospace industry / aerospace engineering experience
