                                    Sr Security Engineer
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Sr Security Engineer with 5+ years of experience in digital certificate management and the PKI space place at our client, a top Canadian Bank

What You’ll Be Doing
Join our Data Protection Services team, a pioneering group offering cutting-edge services at the enterprise level. You’ll provide data protection services such as Data Element Level Protection (DELP), Test Data As a Service (TDaaS), Data Discovery and Remediation (DDaR), and Digital Certificate Lifecycle Manager (DCLM). As a Senior Security Engineer, you’ll either work independently or lead a small development team to collaborate with business partners, QA, vendors, and AO partners on design, integration, configuration, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.
How You’ll Succeed
  • Collaborate with vendors to design, build, configure, and deploy the Digital Certificate Lifecycle Manager (DCLM) from development through to production.
  • Utilize Agile methodology to set up environments, configure, test, debug, and document to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of services during and after projects.
  • Work with consumers to integrate endpoints (e.g., Hashicorp, F5 BigIQ, Akamai) with the DCLM service.
  • Provide production support and collaborate with AO partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Who You Are
  • Experience: You have over 5 years of experience in digital certificate management and the PKI space.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Linux OS, Python, or Shell scripting. Familiar with DevOps tools like GitHub/Git Actions, Jenkins, and Artifactory. Good understanding of firewalls, load balancers, LDAP/Active Directory, and authentication/authorization.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with digital certificate management tools (e.g., Venafi) and Certificate Authorities (e.g., Digicert).
