Position: Service Desk Manager
Location: Orlando, FL/Remote
Duration : 6 month+ Contract
Rate Range : $50-$60/ per Hour
 
Job Description:
Job Summary: The Service Desk Manager will oversee the daily operations of the service desk, ensuring efficient and effective support for all IT-related issues. This role requires a strong background in helpdesk management, project support, process and procedure development, ServiceNow configurations, and ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Helpdesk Management: Lead and manage the service desk team to provide high-quality support to end-users. Monitor and improve service desk performance metrics.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with IT and business teams to support various projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Process and Procedures: Develop, implement, and maintain IT service management processes and procedures to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
  • ServiceNow Configurations: Configure and maintain the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization’s needs. Ensure the platform is optimized for performance and usability.
  • ITIL Best Practices: Apply ITIL best practices to manage incidents, problems, changes, and service requests. Ensure compliance with ITIL standards and continuous improvement of IT service management processes.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in helpdesk management and leading a service desk team.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and certification (ITIL Foundation or higher) is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configurations and administration.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to support and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
