Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our staffing practice has an opening for a Senior Security Engineer with 5+ years experience Designing and implementing an Azure ETL to place at our client, a top Canadian Bank

About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in the Data Protection Services team, an innovative group offering new enterprise-level services. These services include Data Element Level Protection (DELP), Test Data As a Service (TDaaS), Data Discovery and Remediation (DDaR), and Digital Certificate Lifecycle Manager (DCLM). As a Senior Security Engineer, you will either work independently or lead a small development team to collaborate with business partners, QA, vendors, and AO partners on design, integration, configuration, development, implementation, troubleshooting, and providing production support.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, build, configuration, and deployment of an Azure ETL pipeline using ADF, Azure Blob/ADLS, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with the Protegrity vendor to establish the Protegrity Cloud Protect API using Azure App Service (v3 Linux) and Azure APIM.
  • Integrate the Azure ETL pipeline to utilize the Protegrity Cloud Protect API via APIM.
  • Follow Agile methodology to set up the environment, configure, test, debug, and document to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the service during and after the project.
  • Document the solution design and prepare a playbook for other team members to follow.
Qualifications:
  • You have demonstrated experience in:
    • Designing and implementing an Azure ETL using the mentioned Azure technologies (5+ years).
    • Strong knowledge of Linux OS, Spark, and Python.
    • Experience with DevOps tools such as GitHub/Git Actions and Artifactory.
    • Understanding of firewalls, load balancers, LDAP/Active Directory, and Authentication/Authorization.
