TS/SCI Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Java developers with a knack for both back-end and front-end development. Ideal candidates will be well-rounded software developers capable of handling Angular-based UIs and have experience in cloud-based development environments. Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, and automated testing is essential. The role involves participating in agile development teams, engaging in typical Agile software development practices including Scrum teams, increment planning, and sprint planning.
The Software engineer will perform the development and integration via industry best practices to create an optimal architecture for the government system.

• Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with modern DevOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
• Help maintain the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
• The ideal candidate will have outstanding technical talent with desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies.

• Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience with software development or 7+ years of experience with software development in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of experience in Core Java development.
• Experience with developing APIs at scale.
• Experience with Git and version control strategies.

• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Experience with Spring Boot/Microservices development.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or GovCloud.
• Understanding of DevOps and the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle.
