Delivery Manager 

Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Delivery Manager with 8+ years of experience leading finance planning and resourcing headcount for multiple internal projects, working with Clarity tool, and financial industry exprience to place at our client, a Big Five Bank. 

Client: Big Five Bank

Contract: 1 year rolling contract 

Location: Toronto, Downtown Core (remote as of now)

Project: Managing Financial Planning & Resourcing Headcount for multiple internal projects. There will be some accountability to smaller projects as well.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assists in the preparation and conduction of technical delivery for internal Technology Development projects within T&O and/or lines of business
  • Accountable for working as a member of a project team to lead and report on Financial Planning for multiple projects
  • Help navigate the team to work through the sprint deliverables 
  • Leads Resource Planning for multiple teams of internal projects 
  • Leads monthly delivery reporting for some internal projects
  • Able to provide guidance to mid-level and junior-level resources, assist Leads and Managers, executive level presence and able to contribute to innovative ideas, etc.

Key Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Delivery Manager on technical projects 
  • 5+ years of experience driven project deliverables
  • Experience with managing financial planning of projects, and communicating to leadership
  • Experience managing resource headcount for project delivery 
  • Worked in agile environment
  • Knowledge of Clarity tool for reporting and financial tracking
  • Experience working in the financial industry

  • Strong leadership skills
