L1 Service Desk - 3rd Shift

Job Description:

Our client is looking to hire a Service Desk Technician. This role with be onsite, 4 days a week in 10 hour shifts. This will be a 3rd Shift role.

  • Provide on-site support using a company vehicle to various plants in the Triangle area, as well as remote support through a ticketing system.
  • Assist with issues related to Microsoft products, printers, and email.
  • Triage incoming tickets and escalate those requiring Tier 2 support.
  • Resolve Tier 1 tickets and collaborate with end users to address their issues.

Key Areas of Work:

  1. On-site quick action assistance for urgent issues.
  2. Routine IT tasks.
  3. Preventative IT tasks.
  4. Triage and manage new tickets.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Microsoft products.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to explain troubleshooting processes clearly, from start to finish, and work collaboratively when assistance is needed.
