Skills Required:

  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience
  •  1+ plus years of experience within network infrastructure, server, and system administration operations.
  •  Ability to plan, guide, manage, organize, and coordinate work assignments to employees
  • Ability to present and prepare reports
  • Ability to assign appropriate priorities to work activities based on organizational goals and situational pressures
  • Ability to effectively plan and communicate work activities and deadlines


REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  •  Bachelors degree and/or 5 years of related work experience
  • PMP Certification

 

Job Description/Duties:
1. Collaborate with staff, team members, management, and external organizations, including vendors, to gather and manage information for project plans, portfolios, metrics, reports, and documentation.
2. Define project objectives and scope by reviewing proposals to determine timelines, budgets, procedures, and phases for IT network infrastructure and server projects.
3. Implement project management processes for IT network infrastructure and server projects to ensure timely delivery, budget compliance, high quality, and customer satisfaction.
4. Work with technical teams and business stakeholders to develop deliverables suited for audiences with varying technical expertise.
5. Identify and assess project risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation.
6. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Point of Contact (POC) for managing and enhancing processes related to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
7. Recommend improvements in efficiency, reporting structures, and productivity to IO Leadership
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage a process for tracking all IT initiatives and projects, ensuring regular reporting and efficient resource utilization.
2. Prepare status reports and provide updates to stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify necessary activities, and ensure that deliverables, milestones, and tasks are completed on schedule.
3. Attend or lead staff meetings and integrate with the team, gaining familiarity with overall operations and project initiatives.
4. Use Microsoft Office, Atlassian Suite, SharePoint, Salesforce, and other tools to document, track, and report on IT project efforts.
5. Lead projects from initiation through to completion, adhering to the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework.
