Position: Firmware Engineer
Location: Celebration, FL
Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire with possible extension or conversion to full-time
Pay Rate Range: $62-$92/hour
Position Overview:
The Senior Firmware Engineer will be responsible for:
- design, architecture, and development activities
- implementing features, bugfixes, and identifying opportunities for improvement in the firmware / driver domain
- documentation and working with manufacturing partners on devising effective NPI strategies and factory testing suites
- mentorship
Required Experience:
- 5+ Years of Experience with Firmware development including:
- Experience with embedded toolchains, preferably RTOS or Zephyr
- C in embedded applications
- Experience with hardware, IoT and Edge devices
- Experience with Bluetooth low energy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Bachelors degree
