Job Description: Financial Analyst
Location: 
Arlington VA 
Summary: Utilize expertise in the Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to enhance current and future education and outreach program management activities across the PPBE lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply deep understanding of the PPBE process to support the management of education and outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop program plans, aligning them with budgetary and strategic goals.
  • Monitor and track program budgets throughout the PPBE lifecycle, ensuring compliance and identifying variances.
  • Analyze program data and financial reports to assess performance and recommend adjustments.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders involved in PPBE-related activities.
  • Provide guidance on PPBE process requirements and best practices to ensure effective program implementation.
  • Support the preparation of budget justifications and other documentation required for program reviews and audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge of the Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
  • Experience in program management, budget analysis, or financial planning within governmental or educational settings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and financial information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial management software.
