Position: Data Analytics SME
Location: Mostly remote – may have to come onsite once a week in Alexandria, VA (Mark Center)
Hours: Regular business hours
Compensation: $165,000-$175,000/yr (depending on clearance level)
Clearance: Secret required at minimum

 
Summary: Provide expert knowledge in gathering, sorting, analyzing, displaying, and reporting data related to cyber education programs. Offer strategic advice on program enhancements and opportunities for data improvement.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Gather, organize, and analyze data related to cyber education programs to extract meaningful insights.
  • Develop reports and visualizations to effectively communicate data trends and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a key resource on data methodologies, trends, and best practices in cyber education.
  • Advise on data collection strategies, tools, and technologies to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into program planning and decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities for program enhancement based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
  • Recommend and implement data-driven strategies to optimize program performance and outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of program changes, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve objectives.
  • Provide expert consultation to internal and external stakeholders on data-related inquiries and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and policymakers to align data practices with educational goals and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the organization.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience as a data analyst, data scientist, or similar role, with expertise in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
  • Knowledge of cyber education programs, including cybersecurity principles and educational methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to data interpretation and presentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage projects from conception to completion.
