Sr. ServiceNow Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Sr. ServiceNow Developer to work with our Clinical Practice in developing complex requests and solutions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities/Functions (including but not limited to):
1. Work current team of ServiceNow Administrator/Platform Owner and Developer team to provide solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and recommend innovative solutions.
3. Ensure the integrity and security of the ServiceNow platform and applications by implementing best practices and adhering to industry standards.
4. Implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems, utilizing web services, APIs, and data imports.
5. Perform in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of complex issues to ensure system stability and performance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance user experience.
7. Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including architectural designs, configurations, and customizations.
8. Provide guidance and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and utilization of ServiceNow applications.
9. Develop UAT testing plans and work with end users for UAT acceptance.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
• ServiceNow Developer Certification (Required)
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (Preferred)
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) (Required)
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, Angular, REST, and XML required.
• Experience with data imports, particularly related to CMDB.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies (preferred)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education.
PREFERED EXPERIENCE:
Three (3) years’ experience in ServiceNow development, including hands-on experience with application design, configuration, customization, and integration.
Some requirements:
**Must live in the greater Houston area because this is a hybrid position. There will be in office 2-3 workdays per week requirement***
