Terms: 12 months with opportunity to convert to Full Time

What Youll Do:
Join our team at in the Infrastructure, Planning, and Engineering division within the Enterprise Service Management and Automation Development unit. Here, youll contribute to innovative ideas and drive our digital and agile transformation to enhance our clients banking experience. As a ServiceNow Developer, your role will involve the technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
How Youll Excel:
Collaborative Development: Contribute to achieving the agile teams goals by collaborating with other functional teams, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, and enhancing the teams technical capabilities. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet business objectives while also maintaining existing applications.
Programming Proficiency: Coordinate complex application programming activities within the Scrum team, including developing specifications, coding, testing, debugging, adjusting, and documenting to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of programs.
Design the applications technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
Leadership & Influence: Lead code-review sessions and ensure overall code quality aligns with business and project requirements.
Monitor production and provide user acceptance testing support to troubleshoot complex problems in applications and technologies. Assist in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies/practices.
Who You Are:
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in development, with a focus on developing custom applications within ServiceNow.
Youre familiar with various ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Resource, Asset Management, Service Levels (SLA), and Content Management.
Additionally, you have experience with Service Catalog and Service Portals, as well as building API integrations and case exchanges.
Youre well-versed in using ITIL best practices in ServiceNow, particularly focusing on ITSM solutions. Previous experience and knowledge of working within an Agile environment are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective problem-solving abilities, the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team, and a strong customer service mindset are among your strengths.
SNOW Development Skills:
You possess a solid understanding of ServiceNow design and workflows, with a background in JavaScript development. Exposure to MID servers and an understanding of Cloud Services are also part of your skill set.
Additionally, you hold certifications in ITIL and are a ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist. You have hands-on experience in the following SNOW areas:
    • 1. Platform upgrade activities 
    • 2. MID servers installation/troubleshooting
    • 3. Integrations REST/SOAP/Scripted web service
    • 4. PowerShell scripting
    • 5. CMDB/Discovery
    • 6. Service Portal

Additional skills
It would be considered a strong asset if you have exposure to Ansible automation Developer skills:
 
  • Knowing the Yaml syntax
  • Using the playbooks of Ansible
  • Excellent command of the Linux system
  • Having experience with code editors like Visual Studio Code
  • Knowing the Ansible Galaxy well, with its directory tasks and commands.
  • Knowledge of Ansible Modules, Ansible Tags, Ansible roles
  • Knowledge of source control systems, like Git and its commands git pull, git push, git clone.
  • The developer needs to be very familiar with and highly experienced in Python.

Interview Process: Minimum of 1 interview, maximum 2 interviews that are an hour in length with the hiring manager. Focusing on technical as well as a sense of team fit.
