Skills: Required: • Analysis, Design and Development and Management of existing Azure Application and infrastructure components. • Expertise in microservices, web services REST and SOAP - Strong experience using Cloud Design Patterns, SOLID Design Principles and OOP Concepts • Solid understanding of the asynchronous programing model and its relationship to multithreaded programming. • Understanding of Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Mongo, Cosmos DB, • Extensive knowledge in TDD, Junit and Mockito/PowerMock • Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform. • Must have strong analytic and problem solving/troubleshooting skills • Strong communication skills Preferred: N/A

Description: The Software engineer will be working on Google Cloud Platform Migration for Event Router and Geofence Platform applications. Candidate will work on a product team and collaborate with product owner, product manager to design, develop and other software engineers to deliver quality software product. Candidate will support current and future connected vehicle programs using Java technologies and Google Cloud Platform. As Ford’s vehicle consumers are expecting more features that combine their vehicles, mobile devices, and other systems to provide value in daily life, our organization has been instrumental in driving innovative technology solutions. Since consumers are using these solutions directly, it is of great importance to ensure they meet Ford’s standards for high-quality products. Experience Required: • 7 years of overall software development experience. • 5 years of experience with java technologies. • 3 years of experience in Cloud computing and IoT implementation.
