Role: Field Technician

Client: Retail franchise - gasoline/Convenience stores.

Pay rate: $24/hr + overtime after 40 hours.

Duration: 6-month initial contract, with the potential for extension/conversion.

Schedule: This is a travel position that anticipates 55 hours per week.  

*See below for a typical schedule*

  • Monday-Tuesday: Onsite installing hardware (6am-6pm onsite)
  • Wednesday: Traveling to a new retail location (1-5 hours anticipated)
  • Thursday-Friday: Onsite installing hardware (6am-6pm onsite)
  • Saturday: Preparation for the following week (1-5 hours antipated)

 

You will be provided with the following:

  • Stipend for hotels, food, gas, tools, etc.
  • Company truck
  • PTO accumulates after 90 days.

 

As a Field Technician, you will be traveling to select retail convenience store locations in Denver, CO, and additional select locations around Colorado. You will be handling physical hardware set-up installations and configurations inside stores, This includes working with all IT hardware and equipment (POS, self-checkouts, credit card reader, computers, installing servers, etc.).

 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Must be able to drive for extended periods and be comfortable with extended travel(periodic overnight travel around Colorado will be required at times)
  • Experienced with hardware installation and basic wiring.
  • The ability to show up for work every day and on time, great average customer service skills, and be able to communicate verbally, written, and electronically
  • Hardware Break-Fix experience
  • Positive attitude.

 

Plusses:

  • Previous commercial hardware installation experience
  • Previous experience in the retail gasoline/convenience store industry.
