Lead Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer
Location: 100% Remote - EST Hours
3 month contract to full time hire
Pay on contract (first 3 months): $40.00 - $50.00 / hourly rate

Salary Conversion: $80,000 to $115,00

Responsibilities
Participate in JAD, workshops, and/or business requirements sessions to understand, identify, and detail MDM requirements and key criteria.
  • Work with stakeholders in gathering the Match & Merge rules, developing & configuring trust matrix, match path, match columns, match rules (Exact and Fuzzy), and data stewardship workflows
  • Find gaps and data anomalies and review the same with stakeholders for approval and identify next steps.
  • Develop and execute data profiling, data quality analysis and capture results for requirement/user story sessions recommendations and plan, Data Model, Data Dictionary, and Current to Future State Data Map
  • Design, develop, and implement architecture for MDM as an enterprise solution.
  • Propose and institutionalize principles of MDM data model lifecycle management that will ensure the best standards for data quality management
  • Engineer efforts of data quality completeness initiative
  • Provide design expertise in developing the data deliverables, including the Data Stewardship Framework, Data Cleansing recommendations including standardization and plan, Data Model, Data Dictionary and Current to Future State Data Map.
  • Participate in roadmap planning, recommending technologies and solutions.
  • Participate and drive requirements and architecture discussions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing of patch releases and system upgrades.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings and actively participate in the Jira Teams Plan, issue reporting and assignment, Track, Report, and manage work for the MDM development.
  • Ensure the program’s alignment to Enterprise data standards Quality, Metadata, Linkage, Reference data, Provisioning strategy, etc.

Qualifications
  • Should have 10+ years of IT experience and 6+ years of experience in MDM architecture, design, development, and support with leading MDM tools.
  • Extensive MDM experience in Profisee MDM Tool
  • 5+ years of experience working within a Healthcare insurance organization with experience working with related healthcare operations data
  • Should have 5+ years of experience in ETL development, support, and operations with an emphasis on Data Quality
  • Should have in-depth data warehouses and data lake concepts.
  • Should have an in-depth understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Cataloging, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Lineage, Data Dictionary, Data Mapping, Data Policy, and Data Governance
  • Should have a thorough understanding of Master Data hierarchy and implemented multi-domain MDM.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing and data manipulation
  • Should have participated in MDM workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Should have written complex SQL queries for data analysis and profiling.
  • Should have cross-global location experience and been part of a team of at least 8+ members in a global delivery model.
  • Purview, Databricks, and Data Fabrics skills are preferred but not mandatory.
