Program Manager - Enterprise Data Management and Analytics

  • 6+ month Contract
  • Remote – needs to be able to work EST hours
  • Target Pay: 65/hr – 75/hr

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to manage one of our clients Enterprise Data Management and Analytics initiatives
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data management principles, analytics, and the ability to drive large-scale projects that transform data into actionable insights for our business. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for excellence in data governance, quality, and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enterprise data management and analytics that aligns with the organization’s goals.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to drive the execution of data initiatives, ensuring they deliver value to the business.
  2. Program Management:
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple data management and analytics projects.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
    • Apply best practices in project management, including risk management, stakeholder communication, and agile methodologies.
    • Manage multiple related projects, not just one.
  3. Data Governance and Quality:
    • Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, quality, and security across the organization.
    • Champion the importance of high-quality data and its role in decision-making.
  4. Analytics and Insights:
    • Leverage advanced analytics techniques to transform data into actionable insights.
    • Work closely with business leaders to understand their challenges and provide data-driven solutions that drive strategic decisions.
  5. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  6. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
    • Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for data initiatives.
  7. Technology and Innovation:
    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data management and analytics.
    • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies that can enhance the organization’s data capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading large-scale data projects.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data modeling, and data architecture principles.
  • Strong agile and Jira skills.
  • Experience with analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SAS).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
