Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Essbase Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase and a strong background in developing technology solutions involving relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Essbase applications.
• Develop and optimize RDBMS solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
• Implement batch automation using tools such as Windows Scheduler and AutoSys.
• Write and maintain scripts using Python, UNIX shell, Windows PowerShell, and DOS command line.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Essbase solutions with other systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Essbase applications and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Strong experience with Oracle Essbase (4+ years).
• Proficiency in RDBMS technologies, including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
• Experience with batch automation tools such as Windows Scheduler and AutoSys.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, UNIX shell, Windows PowerShell, and DOS command line.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, API development, and S3 object storage is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
