Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst who is well-organized and possesses the ability to multi-task and help execute the Studio’s contracting needs. The ideal candidate will interact with multiple individuals and/or team disciplines as well as external supplier and partners. Not only will they be responsible for assisting the Studios’ contracting and procurement process, but they will also be training business partners on the process.


This is an 18 month contract on site in Redmond, WA
Pay: $40- $45/hr DOE.

  • Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: Contract execution 60%, Budget approval 20%, Manage open PO process 10%, Supplier setup management 10%
  • Years of Experience Required: 3+ contracts realm or 2-4+ procurement experience.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal resume would contain Microsoft procurement experience, Understanding of Microsoft tools and processes, Prior gaming experience, solid understanding of contract execution process
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience
  • Contractor execution experience | 2-4 years pf experience 2. Demonstrated experience using excel | 2-4 years pf experience 3. Project management experience | 2-4 years pf experience Hard

 

Required Candidate Preparation: Candidates should be able to walk through their procurement method and previous roles and share big projects that they have shepherd thru execution methodology. We are looking for a Business Analyst who is well-organized and possesses the ability to multi-task and help execute the Studio’s contracting needs. The ideal candidate will interact with multiple individuals and/or team disciplines as well as external supplier and partners. They be responsible for assisting the Studios’ contracting, budget approval process, and procurement process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of the Studio’s overall contracting and budget approval processes including timelines of deliveries, adhering to contract process SLA’s, communicate effectively with internal and external business partners across our business to provide robust contract support / guidance, status updates, and reporting.
  • Execute contracts on behalf of the Studio with external partners and ensure alignment of contractual terms and obligations.
  • Manage Microsoft requirements for compliance of contractual terms and requirements including the following: Accessibility, Customers’ PII, Microsoft IP, Supplier Privacy, and Microsoft Sustainability initiatives, Manage the Purchase Orders requirements for contracts including the necessary work back schedule to meet internal deadlines, create reporting and identify ways to improve efficiency by working with the Business Management team.
  • Facilitate collaborative and effective communication between business team and Turn studio stakeholders

 

Addl Skills: Must have experience with managing written agreements, and procurement processes - ideally prior experience in the MSFT procure to pay system / policies, and demonstrated experience using Excel for tracking complex contractual spend summaries via pivot tables. Demonstrated experience working in cross-group collaboration and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Ability to manage a dynamic and evolving workflow schedule to support and execute multiple agreements. Well-organized with strong attention to detail; effective written and verbal communication, and internal personal skills Experience partnering with external customers on contract/agreement or finance related inquiries. Passion for games, though that is not required.

 

Preferred qualification

  • Familiarity with contract structures
  • Ability to quickly build relationships, establish trust.
  • Ability to plan, create and maintain a highly effective schedule to manage multiple agreement negotiations taking place simultaneously on different timelines.
  • Ability to problem solve using data to drive informed decision making.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while being aware and curious of the team progress.
  • Experience influencing positive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.
