Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Salesforce Developer, the candidate will be responsible for collaborating with product owners for requirement gathering, designing, and guiding the Development team to deliver robust Salesforce solutions. This role will focus on processes related to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Develop and maintain custom solutions on the force.com platform using Apex and Visualforce by establishing best practices of application development and data integrity.
- Develop and support new functionality using Aura and LWC framework.
- Work with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to create project roadmaps and technical specifications and ensure effective collaboration through all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain coding, testing standards, and best practices documents.
- Enforce best practices through code reviews and technical architecture reviews.
- Identify and develop plans for process improvements on various aspects of the development lifecycle and Salesforce platform management.
- Conduct ongoing reviews of Salesforce instances to ensure operational stability and compatibility with evolving business needs.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solutions, determining trade-offs and impact analysis.
- Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements and projects.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years as a Salesforce developer working on Sales, Service, and Community clouds.
- Strong knowledge of custom Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, basic administration, flows, reporting, and general design concepts.
- Proficient in LWC framework and working knowledge of Aura components.
- Proven ability to provide best practice coding standards and manage a complex CRM environment.
- Experience building web services using SOAP, REST, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with cross-cloud Salesforce (SFDC) implementations integrated with other cloud and on-premises systems.
- Expertise using Copado and Git for deployments and/or versioning.
- Experience working on web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously.
- Strong writing skills. Must have the ability to document processes and technical knowledge in clear, easily understood presentations.
- Understanding of AGILE methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
Nice to have:
- Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II certification are preferred.
- System and Application Architect certifications are a plus.
- Knowledge of other programming languages, such as .Net, is a plus.
- Experience working with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft is plus.
