Support Engineer
Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Support Engineer with deep knowledge in Database (Mongo DB, MS SQL, No SQL), big data production support (Azure/Cloud) and knowledge in database (MySQL/Postgres), to place at our client, a multinational technology corporation.
Client: Multinational technology corporation
Terms: Until 6/30/2024 (with strong possibility to extend to 18-month total contract length)
Location: Hybrid – 2-3 days on-site required  
Language Requirement: English and Japanese

Overview
We are seeking a Support Engineer to support our client’s database support team.
Qualifications:
 

  • Deep Knowledge in Database (Mongo DB, MS SQL, No SQL)
  • Expert level understanding of Azure Data factory, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Services
  • Designing & Building of Data pipelines using API, Ingestion and streaming methods
  • Knowledge on Azure SQL Managed Instance
  • Knowledge in Database (MySQL/Postgres/ )
  • Big Data Production Support (On Prem / Azure/Cloud)
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Top “Must Haves”
 
  1. Minimum 2+ years experience with deep knowledge in Database (Mongo DB, MS SQL, No SQL)
  2. Minimum 2+ years experience with big data production support (Azure/Cloud)
  3. Minimum 2+ years experience with knowledge in database (MySQL/Postgres )
  4. Language requirement: English, Japanese
*The ideal resume would contain multiple years of experience with support engineering, troubleshooting, and is well articulated both on paper and in person.
Typical task breakdown
 
  • 80% case management
  • 20% meetings


Other information
Two rounds of interviews – 1st interview will be a technical assessment and the 2nd interview will be a managerial interview (focusing on behavioral skills)
