About Us: Apex Systems is excited to partner with a dynamic and growing client in Greenwood Village, CO. We are on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Data Analytics Project Manager to lead innovative data projects and drive impactful results.
Your Role: As a Data Analytics Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of our data initiatives, guiding projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Project Leadership: Organize, plan, and execute data projects, ensuring seamless transitions from the inception phase through to operational success.
  • Data Architecture & Workflow: Document requirements for designing data architectures, developing data pipelines, and optimizing data workflows, while ensuring data quality, reliability, and security.
  • Scope & Progress Management: Define project scope, track progress, assess risks, and maintain schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide day-to-day direction to project resources and lead cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
  • Business Integration: Understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to validate results and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, with a strong understanding of data analytics processes and tools.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like Apache Airflow, and proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, spreadsheets, and data visualization tools.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effective at managing stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with business needs, and capable of translating complex data findings into actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to convey project status, manage expectations, and address concerns or changes in scope.
  • Advanced Analytics Knowledge: Knowledge of advanced data analytics, including statistics, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data modeling.
  • IT Expertise: Advanced understanding of IT technologies, with experience in performing complex release management tasks within a Fortune 500 company.
  • Independent & Motivated: Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused to deliver timely results and positively influence outcomes.
  • Leadership & Organization: Demonstrated project leadership experience handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to present to peers and immediate leadership effectively.
  • Detail-Oriented & Analytical: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Team Player: A critical thinker who thrives in a team environment.

The compensation for this position depending on experience is between $60-65/hr.
