PROJECT SUMMERY
This contractor will be supporting the Derivative Collateral Management team. Senior team members will be moving to an optimization effort while newer team members take over day to day tasks. This contractor may be pulled in to support ad-hoc tasks as needed depending on skill set.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
This department supports the collateralization of the derivative, repurchase agreement (repo), forward, TBA Agency MBS and foreign exchange (FX) businesses of Wells Fargo. This group is located in Charlotte and supports nearly 30,000 clients across all business product lines, and multiple legal entities. WF DCM actions approximately 700 margin calls daily and responsible for the settlement and front to back management of the collateral for those clients.
TOP SKILLS
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, etc)
NICE TO HAVE
- FINRA Series 7 license - DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACTIVE
- Familiarity with tableau - (team will build reporting off data)
- Knowledge of FX products, collateral, fixed income products, swaps experience, accounting, equity FX background, general ledger, client facing experience etc.
- Knowledge of and possess ability to interpret executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association
- Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documents
SOFT SKILLS
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-starter and aggressive work ethic with self-discipline follow up skills
EXPERIENCE
• 1 year of capital markets industry or similar experience
INTERVIEW PROCESS
